Challenges for Collaborative Online International Learning and the use of Digital Technologies

The internationalization of higher education is a recurrent challenge in the Brazilian
context. This study, of a qualitative and interpretative nature, points out the potential and limitations
of Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) and the investments needed for teacher
training and for new forms of certification of disciplines and courses based on more flexible criteria.
