Abstract

This article analyzes how digital teaching competencies are addressed in the curriculum of the Bachelor's Degree in Educational Technology, distance learning modality, at the Federal University of Mato Grosso, in light of the EduTec/CIEB Guide. The research adopts a qualitative approach, being a case study with document analysis of the course curriculum and a focus group with graduates. Data analysis was performed through data triangulation. The results indicate a greater recurrence of digital competencies and digital citizenship, especially in subjects such as planning, materials production, seminars, and internships, as well as less evidence of competencies related to professional development. It is concluded that the similarities between the curriculum, the EduTec/CIEB Guide, and the experiences of graduates are concentrated in the competencies with the highest recurrence, especially pedagogical and digital citizenship competencies.

She holds a PhD and Post-Doctorate in Informatics in Education from PGIE/UFRGS, a Master's degree in Computer Science from PPGCC/UFSC, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Passo Fundo UPF/RS. Currently, she is a professor and researcher at the Institute of Education, Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT), and a member of the LêTECE/UFMT research group.
